As we come to the end of this year, I would like to take this opportunity to share how truly delighted we have been with the work of our chaplaincy team and to reflect on what has been a very rewarding term.
I have had the privilege of working alongside our chaplains, who have done wonderful work in both Exeter House and St Osmund’s Primary School. With a team of seven chaplains, we concluded this year’s work with St Osmund’s this Thursday. Throughout the morning, we spent time visiting different year groups, and it was especially encouraging to be a visible and familiar presence for the Year 6 pupils from our feeder school. We hope this will help make their transition much easier when some of them join us next year.
It was also incredibly touching to receive a beautiful card from Exeter House, signed by pupils and staff we have been working with. This thoughtful gesture, along with a lovely present, felt like a perfect and heartfelt way to bring our school year to a close, and we are deeply grateful for their kindness.
