Parent Notices – Week 6 (10th Oct 2025)

Oct 10, 2025

Over the past two weeks, we welcomed over 300 families to our School through our Open Evening and School in Action Morning events. It was a joy to see our pupils step forward as ambassadors – guiding tours, answering questions, and sharing their experiences with warmth and confidence. The feedback from visiting families was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on the pupils’ politeness, enthusiasm, and articulate nature. These moments remind us that our young people are not only learners but leaders in the making.

Our football teams have kicked o the season with matches against WSE, showing great commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship. I commend all pupils who participated and represented the school with pride. We look forward to next week’s fixture against Wellington Academy and wish our teams continued success on and o the pitch.

There is a palpable sense of momentum across our School. We are forward-facing, ambitious, and committed to excellence. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or through our wider enrichment programme, our School continues to rise and is fast becoming an educational beacon in the local area. This is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and most importantly, the spirit of our pupils.

I am delighted to announce a major site-wide IT upgrade. Over the coming months, we will be installing new LED screens in every classroom and replacing computers across the school. This investment in our infrastructure will be followed by the installation of new Wi-Fi points, ensuring that our digital environment is robust and future ready. These enhancements will empower our pupils to develop their digital literacy and thrive in an increasingly connected world.

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the importance of being prepared and open to transformation. Just as the wise servants kept their lamps lit, we too must remain ready to embrace growth and change. Our school’s journey is marked by innovation, community spirit, and a commitment to excellence. It is a reflection of that readiness and may we continue to walk together in faith, hope, and purpose.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It is a privilege to lead this family, and I look forward to all that lies ahead.
