The best that has been said:
- Students study Newton’s three laws
- The ideas of Ignaz Semmelweis
- The theories of Einstein
An appreciation for human creativity:
- Students are given the skills necessary to create experiments and to share the thoughts behind the scenes
- They explore the thinking behind the creation of Hot-Wheels, hero engine, fire piston, jumping wires and more
An appreciation of human achievement:
- Students explore how scientists have achieved such high levels of protection for the population against infectious diseases such as covid with the use of vaccinations, barrier protection
- Students learn about the periodic table and the thought and exploration that went into its compilation
- Students learn about the exploration of space and the advancements in space theory
- Students understand how stem-cell technology has been used to further medicine
Cultural capital in Science helps students to gain confidence in setting up experiments safely and managing risk. Students go out into the world curious and interested to ask the right questions.
