Key Stage 3

Computing

All pupils will study Computing in KS3, and then they will have the option to study GCSE Computer Science in KS4. These courses offer pupils an understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of computing. They will be equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving technological landscape, fostering problem-solving, logical thinking, and an understanding of how technology impacts society.

In KS4, pupils also have the option to study BTEC Creative Media Production, which gives them the chance to develop valuable skills and techniques in different disciplines, produce a practical response to a digital media brief, and explore potential careers in the media industry.
