For information about job applicant privacy and how we use personal data, please read this notice.
Please note that in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024’ guidance, the school conducts online searches via the internet on all applicants that are shortlisted for interviews.
Interested in becoming a teacher?
If you are interested in entering a career in teaching we can provide extensive experience of training prospective new entrants to the teaching profession. We aim to offer new trainees a highly supportive and well organised training and induction programme which will provide them with the best possible experience in their initial year of teaching.
We work with United Teaching with SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) and with the University of Southampton with a traditional PGCE route into teaching.
Our Staff Development Policy explains the importance of CPD, how all staff should take responsibility for their own personal development, and how St Joseph’s is committed to supporting staff with their continuing professional development.
