Each year, we give Year 10 pupils the opportunity to experience a mock job interview, which includes writing their own CV and cover letter before being interviewed by a real employer. This year’s Mock Interview Day was a huge success, with 113 interviews conducted in one day!
Thank you to every staff member for making the day run smoothy, especially to our Careers Lead Miss Gale for organising the whole day, and an even bigger thank you to every person who volunteered their time to interview our pupils. Some of the feedback from visiting employers included…

- “Having attended several other days at other schools, this was the best organised. I knew everything I needed in advance and it ran like clockwork.”
Deputy Head Mr Rooney spoke to all of the volunteers, and said that all of them were full of praise for how it was organised and how well prepared the pupils were. “It was a great event, a lovely buzz in the hall and brilliant to hear such positive feedback from our guests.”
