St Joseph’s teachers walk 57km for a world without dementia

12th December 2016 by Mrs Le Ray Latest News, SJCS Charity

Mr McHale and Mr Blake of St Joseph’s went on an epic day’s adventure in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. The pair walked 57 kilometres around the Salisbury area in a time of 13 and a half hours.  Pupils, staff, friends and families raised £560 in sponsorship for the teachers’ efforts.  Pupils also learnt about the important work done by the Alzheimer’s Society during assemblies with Martin Plimsoll a local volunteer for the charity.
