REACHING YOUR POTENTIAL: HELPING YOU PREPARE FOR YOUR EXAMS

Your exams are the culmination of many years of school education, and the grades you achieve will stay with you. The aim of this booklet is to give you some useful information that will help you to become involved in the revision process. It is worth remembering that an examination is a test of learning, not memory. It is important that the revision process starts early.

This booklet looks at why you should revise for your exams or mock exams, as well as where, when, how, and how often to revise.

SUBJECT SPECIFIC REVISION GUIDE

Please note: This booklet is for current Year 11. The Year 10 booklet for mock exams will be available once work experience is completed in June.

This guide is intended to help you with your exam preparation, so that you can make the most of what you have learned. Revising isn’t something that should be challenging or difficult – but what revising is, unfortunately, is time consuming. This booklet contains strategies for revising, how to organise your revision time, and revision plan pages you can print and fill in to help you structure your study time.
